Ouch! your wish for the thief is entirely appropriate. Also likely, if it was broken in to fit you. Like the low-life who stole a pair of heavy climbing boots from me years ago–if he or she wore ‘em at all, they probably caused lameness or at least blisters within an hour or two. The thief did me a favor–I replaced the boots with a much lighter pair, and my feet were happier ever after.
