Blame it on the election
.. combined with a busy time at work.
Sorry for going AWOL without notice here – I’ve been consumed by the European election campaign; I could promise to be back here before June 4, but I can’t really guarantee it. Got half a dozen book reviews stacked up for when I get a few spare half hours….

Deep sigh of relief from this quarter. Given my line of work, I find it easy to blame elections for much, so this little more will hardly be noticed….
On the other hand, the length of time between posts actually caused me to check your Twitter updates; am not enamored of Tweets in general but it’s surprising how addictive they can become.
And–a brief raspberry for the Arkansas state representative who was until a few weeks ago the US’s highest-ranking elected Green. Turns out that since he’d been caucusing with the Democrats anyway, he figured he should change his party affiliation back to what it had been before he filed for election. Grr.

Yes on Twitter, I will admit that it has taken up some of the blogging impulse.
Sorry to hear about Arkansas David – very disappointing, and more than a little bit odd!
