And don’t forget the Carnival of Feminists is coming up fast on F-words. Deadline for nominations is Friday.
That’s also the deadline for the first Carnival of Disability Blogs, set up by Penny, who often contributes suggestions for my Friday Femmes Fatales.
The Carnival of Feminists is coming up – this one on a Sunday (October 8 ) rather than a Wednesday, so you’ve got a bit of extra time to write or nominate – although that doesn’t mean you have to do it at the last minute…
Carnival No 24 will be on F-Words, and Sara has declared a “feminist free-for-all”. Any feminist topic you fancy – deadline Friday night.
Nominations via the Carnival submission form (preferred) or mail a submission with “Carnival 24” in the subject line to saraeanderson (at) gmail (dot) com.
Over on Lingual Tremors is the spectacular Carnival of Feminists No 23. The “special subject” is Feminism and Health, and there are some moving, scarey, empowering, enlightening posts on the subject. There’s also a special focus on the story that keeps being forgotten, but with which hundreds of thousands of women are still suffering – Darfur. But don’t stay here – do go over and check it out…!
Don’t forget that the next Carnival of Feminists is approaching fast: it will be on Lingual Tremours on Wednesday. She’s generously left the nominations open until Monday night, but remember it isn’t obligatory to do it at the last minute!

The suggested topics are an alliterative assemblage: feminism and fat; and feminism and faith … but other topics are also welcome.
