{"id":1679,"date":"2006-11-07T09:40:38","date_gmt":"2006-11-07T09:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/philobiblon.co.uk\/?p=1679"},"modified":"2006-11-07T09:40:39","modified_gmt":"2006-11-07T09:40:39","slug":"my-climate-change-rally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/philobiblon.co.uk\/?p=1679","title":{"rendered":"My climate change rally"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It just struck me that I&#8217;ve written about Saturday&#8217;s climate change rally in London everywhere but here, so for the record, the collection: I&#8217;ve got a straight news piece on <a href = \"http:\/\/english.ohmynews.com\/ArticleView\/article_view.asp?menu=A11100&#038;no=327254&#038;rel_no=1&#038;back_url=\">OhMyNews<\/a>, a <a href = \"http:\/\/commentisfree.guardian.co.uk\/natalie_bennett\/2006\/11\/the_greedy_generations.html\">comment piece on Guardian blogs<\/a>, reflecting on how a tiny fraction of the human beings who have ever lived have consumed an enormous percentage of the earth&#8217;s resources, and here&#8217;s my favourite protester, who I haven&#8217;t managed to place elsewhere&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/32533403@N00\/289753940\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/121\/289753940_e6bdb86683_m.jpg\" width=\"300\"  alt=\"ccdog\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s a more typical scene &#8211; which explains why, with 25,000 people there, I spent most of my time flitting around the edges taking photos.
